Heater core
I bought a 2000 landrover discoveryII two years ago and I havent had a thing wrong with it until now. My heater core just went out. Is there any way to bi-pass the heater core all together? If so how long will the fix last? Will I have to replace the heater core a.s.a.p? Thanks for any help or comments that I can get.
p.s.--- also, is there any easy way to replace the sparkplug wires?

you can bypass it with a piece of copper pipe and some hose clamps. You will have to take the dash out when you change the heater core. Download the rave manual. I would not by a cheap aftermarket core with all the work it takes to change cores. it will last a long time, you will just be cold. You can change plug wires without removing the intake. It is very tight but can be done. Magnacore 8mm work good along with Bosch platinum +4 sparkplugs. Only change one wire at a time, you don't want to mix them up.

You dont have to remove the whole dash to replace the heater core on a Disco, it is behind the center of the dash, remove the carpet on the passenger side and there is a access panel.
Open it up and theres your heater core.
As for the plug wires, read through the write up section at the top of the Disco page.
