I have several old head gasket kits. Should the be o rings in them for that pipe? I wasn't even sure it was an o ring because though I saw a black material toward the end of the pipe, it was flush with the pipe! That could definitely be an issue.
The rave is silent.

Are you asking about where is bolts to the side of the upper intake plenum where the little stud sticks out on the passenger side?
If so than yes there is an aluminum space between the bracket and the plenum. Looks like a thick washer only made from aluminum.
It's easier to install if you jam a couple nuts together and remove the stud first than slide the washer behind and than install the stud.

Okay I found a spare return pipe in the garage. It had been shade treed and had rtv and an o ring on it that did not fit. But it didn't leak, either. I checked my box of o rings and a new head gasket kit and couldn't find anything that would work. I hate to rtv but I just might.
