i did a little looking and Spike555 said to wiggle the switch to see if it comes back on and mine does but that was his last post on it so... what do i need to get is it just the switch or the conection or both

Not knowing what year Disco you are working on, if it is a D1, buy a new switch/panel which is your only fix.
