Default Heavy vibration!!!

New to here, and new to the Disco. I bought my 02 used and never had a problem with it till now. The problem is that there is a very heavy vibration that I can feel through the steering wheel and accelerator pedal once the car shifts from 2nd to third. I have ruled out the tires, as they are brand new and have been balanced and aligned. The disco shifts fine, but am not sure if this is more of a fuel issue or not. Anyone else had this issue? Any insight would be great!

What speeds are you experiencing it at?

It is not a fuel issue.

it starts at around 35 MPH. It is speratic at times, it will only do it once the car has really warmed up.

Could be panhard rod bushings or drive shaft, but driveshaft usually makes a chirping sound. If it's either of those two things you're going to want to get under there and check it out

I looked under there and didn't see any panhard rod bushings that seemed to wore or damaged. I mean if I really get on the accelerator it gets really bad. Any other suggestions.

The underbody looks very good, barely and rust what so ever. The drive shaft is black and looks to be very clean, maybe new not sure.

I would look more closely at the panhard rod bushes. Along with all four steering rod ends (the drag link and track rod ends).

True, it's nearly impossible to tell if your panhard rod bushings are bad by looking.

I took a closer look and there is a lot of play just moving back and forth in the drag link which also has the steering damper. Would this be the case?
