For your disco eyes only. Small update on Turbo Disco. I did manage to assembly and fit an oil catch can to my silver discovery(intended for TurboDisco). I used a Gatorade bottle instead of the water bottle, similar to the style I posted above. The oil separators have been removed( one was missing),It produces some vapor. This prototype was installed on my daily driver, but I will replicate one for Turbo Disco.

Filter head with catch can location.

You've got Discos and Rx7s? Wow, my hat is off to you ;-) Could have not picked better "hobbyst" cars if tried.

Thank you choodles, I can’t say it was hand selected on purpose. I just love great deals and fortunately, I have a knack for fixing things. The Rx7 was sold a few months back to fund other projects. It’s like a roll-over effect, I am not a millionaire so I have to find deals that fund themselves. Thank you guys for the comments. More to come

Back and better, maybe slower. This project was not ended for those who thought. There have been some alterations since then but still on track.
-No more rear mount turbo, we are going full top mount.
-Bosch UIM/LIM replaced with the GEM manifolds(trumpets removed for turbo app.) see my other threads.
-Fuel system will remain stock with rail modifications for standalone Injector controller
-cooling system upgrades have been performed

Can anyone guess what this is? I’ve been trying to get one for a decent price for a while. Also, grabbed a few fittings for the fuel rails. Not sure exactly on where I would like to have it installed in the engine bay, but I do have a couple ideas. Let’s see, almost done acquiring parts, only thing that’s left is virtually oil feed to the turbo.
A few photos for your eyes, also give Gadsdenrovers a call for your Rover needs/wants.

This is really cool! Excited to see it come together and happy that I haven't had to wait to see more updates! One of the first cars I ever worked on was a NA FC with a bunch of turbo II parts.

the Rx7 was a very nice car to work on, however, times come to where you have to let things go(and I did). I had fun while it lasted. On to the Rover now. 1 major thing left and 1 minor thing left, oil feed/return priority and the down pipe is minor. I got manifolds to mock and weld, I just need a donor Rover to test fit and finalize.

This is awesome. The rear mounted turbo immediately reminded me of the supercharger layout in a P47.

Pardon the shop cleanliness.Turbo manifold partially finished, have to plumb a pipe from the driver side to the passenger side manifold. Also note the other RoV8....possible 4.X in the makings. Also, don’t roast me lol for not having all bolts in position, this is in the fitting/mock stages. Questions/comments/concerns welcome.
