Default Helicoil Oil Pan Bolt Hole?

The threads for one of the bolt holes in my oil pan from my transmission housing to the oil pan is stripped. This seems to be part of the cause of an oil leak. I was thinking of doing a Helicoil rather than replacing the whole oil pan.

Just wanted to touch base with the braintrust on tips and tricks before I took it on.

I have not done this on a Rover, but did it on a Dodge Ram 1500 and it worked fine.
