RE: Hella Lights
The main thing with aux lights is to buy the best. If you go the cheap route, you end up having to buy more lights to give you... well, more light! Then your truck looks like spider with a bunch of eyes... You can find good lights that arent hellas but hellas always seem to get the best reviews. And there is a reason for that, andthatreason isquality.

RE: Hella Lights
Disco Mike, I'll check out the exchange and Camdisco24 thanks - i'll compare the two.
snowdude - All I can think of when I hear KC is the name of the company that invented offroad lighting (at least in the US) and 600,000 candlepower per light. Which also reminds me I have to study my engine - I dont have an ACE pump so I figure I can use that area to put in a second alternator cant seem to find room for another battery though (any suggestions??). As I've mentioned before I grew up in Toyota FJ's and when I put he lights on one of my rigs I always get a third wheel and in comes in handy here in west virginia because we have the rednecks you are talking about and they like to tailgate with their high beams on behind a "foreign rig" so when you turn the third wheel on (light facing backwards) and burn the retina's out of their heads they leave you alone.
Having said all that - its not cost driven - its product performance that matters - I don't care what they say on the outside, its the ones that work BEST I want.
Sorry didnt mean to rant on like that
Robert
