Default Help!!!

New here and have a problem, 2002 disco 2 v8 4l auto. Drove home one night and the next morning it won't start. Cranks over but no starting, no rpm showing on dash when cranking, ( replaced cps and it didn't fix it)
Nanocom can read this fault
2002 discovery 2 fault code p0600 can interface timeout transmisdion control module cycle A determind as persistant signal missing. This is the only fault showing. I did unplug computer behind glovebox to see if any corrosion but it looked good and no water/dampness....plugged back in and "paired" ecu and bcu through nanocom, still cranks over but no start. Both M & S lights flashing, took off xyz switch and looks ok.Dash shows P when in Park, R when moved to reverse, N when moved to nuetral but D flashes on dash, not solid. (this happened only after taking the xyz switch off then re-installing it, so I am sure it needs adjustment now) I did check all fuses and they are good and even swapped out relays. I also don't hear the fuel pump when key is turned to position 2, new fuel pump a month ago but swapped old one back in which powered up before removal and it doesn't now either.
Only have hand tools and Nanocom no electric testing tools and I don't really know what to check next. Please, please help.
ps I am in Costa Rica so parts take months to get.

Check all your alarm status and inputs using the nanocom. Jumper fuel pump relay and make sure it runs. Sounds like a lockout issue, did battery run down with truck locked?

The motor turned over fast the next morning no problem. No alarm light on dash. Which slots do I jump on the fuel pump relay?
