Looking for secondand mecanics to operate electric seats. They come placed in the central console .Yr 1997 Discovery. Or has anyone moderfied these controls from the original???????

 

not sure what you are asking? are you looking for an aftermarket power seat switch? or help fixing originals that don't work anymore?

 

Thanks Chris for replying to my question. Im not sure if they can be fixed i thought i would just replace them, as the ballbearings inside are lost although having trouble finding them second hand that i can aford. I wondered if another make of car would have the compatable operating switches. DOES ANYONE KNOW???????????????

 

I think for the power seat switch you're pretty much stuck with Rover parts. I learned the hard way that a second hand power seat switch will more than likely have problems just like the one it's replacing. That's why I took my switch apart and fixed it.
