HELLO!!

IM IN NEED OF ANSWERS!


YESTERDAY, I NOTICED WHITE SMOKE COMING OUT THE HOOD...CKED CAR & SAW I HAD NO COOLANT...
BOUGHT A BOTTLE, ADDED IT..CAR SEEMED ALL GOOD, NEXT DAY....ON ON MY WAY TO WORK, PLACED HEATER ON (IT WAS A COLD MORNING) STARTED BLOWING OUT COLD AIR) I THOUGHT MY CAR JUST NEEDED TO WARM UP A BIT..U KNOW
ALREADY ARRIVED AT WORK. TURNED CAR OFF AT "SMOKE" AGAIN!!! HAVENT HAD A CHANCE TO OPEN HOOD & RECHECK
BUT UNSURE IF I SHOULD B DRIVING THIS? DONT WANT TO BLOW ANYTHING/MAKE THINGS WORSE-

ANY IDEAS?

ummmm ok. 1st, what's with the attachment?

2nd. where is it smoking? is it out of the tailpipe or from under the hood?

if it's out the tailpipe then it's probably a blown head gasket.

if it's from under the hood it could be a lot of things. Could be a bad hose, leaky rad, bad rad cap, thermostat housing could be leaking or cracked, waterpump could be going bad and leaking out the weep hole . . .

THANK YOU SO MUCH 4 ANY HELP! COOLANT IS LEAKING BY THE LEFT SIDE OF ENGINE, SPARKS ON BACK OF ENGINE (NR WINDSHIELD) PROBABLY BECAUSE OF COOLANT SPLATTERING....UNSURE IF THATS THE CASE-
I WAS THINKING IT MIGHT B CASUED FROM A LEAKY HOSE OR A PUMP-IM FOR SURE THERE IS A LEAK SOMEWHERE BECASUE I JUST PUT 1 QT OF COOLANT YESTERDAY-AND ITS GONE!

 

Maybe she thinks guys will offer more help if there is a picture of a girl.

 

i'm not trying to be rude, but this is probably something you just need to take to a mechanic. "sparks" from the engine . . . . . that's NOT good lol. It's just that without a better description it's almost impossible to diagnose this over the net.

also, the caps lock makes it rather difficult to read.
