Default Help! Anyone know what his is and where to buy it. From 2000 Discovery 2

Hello. At the back of the engine block where the main harness bolts to the back of the head, there are the 2 green ground wires. Inside the harness all taped up are what looks like a capacitor. There is one on each ground wire. Does anyone know where I can buy this? Not sure what to call it. I've googled it but no luck. You usually don't see this because it's normally all taped up in the engine harness. The green ground wire is soldered to this piece (capacitor) and I can't seem to get it soldered back. Won't stick. Both of these are separated from the ground wires. The capacitor looking thing (technical term) is covered in a red plastic coating and underneath that it's blue.

Still not for sure what this is but I think it might simply be a noise suppressor since there are 2 of these. Each connected to the positive wire going to the coil and the other end grounded. If that's the case, then it won't matter if I leave them off. Hope so because I am replacing the head gasket and I'm about to put it all back together without these connected.

Sorry I don’t remember such wires when I did my HG’s.

You probably would never see it. All you normally see is the green ground wire sticking out of the main harness. One green wire on each side running up to each ignition coil. I only saw it because the bolt stripped that holds the main engine harness to the back of the heads and I had to pry it out when a screw driver which exposed it from the wire loom. Anyway, pretty sure it's just a noise suppressor they added from the factory to keep ignition noise from being picked up by the radio. Guess I'll find out for sure when I get it back together. lol
