Have the code etc the vehicle came in for valve cover gaskets replaced install went great but somewhere it turned into a can of worms. It runs but lopes and no steady idle. I've smoked the intake no leaks found I put a new tps sensor in because voltage was high at koeo. It seemed to help but backed vehicle out and let sit went to start and it began to lope and threw those code I'm smacking my head against the wall idk what went wrong

Running lean. You sure there isn't a leak like with the manifold gasket? Also, check the MAF and maybe shoot it with MAF cleaner. If it is under reporting air the computer might compensate creating a lean condition. Look for vac leaks you can't see with the smoke.

I certainly DO NOT mean to be a jerk about this, but the very first thing that comes to mind is: Did you by any chance inadvertently swap the cruise control and throttle cables at the throttle body? I'm just thinking it is probably something simple.

Also, triple check you didn't rip the intake boot or attach it too loose. Codes for MAF, lean in both banks, etc all point to something like that.

Oh yeah...first check the air idle control. Likely you messed up something with that or the Intake. Should have thought of that first, and that is a code you are throwing.

I had similar issues a few times. The first time it was my MAF and the second ws after I did my HG and missed a vac line. Where in Pa are you?

The IACV has two different size hoses, but it can still be installed backwards. If you fought getting one side back on, while the other side seemed loose, recheck. Good luck
