Default HELP - Brake Master Cylinder question?

2003 Disco II

I replaced the Brake Master Cylinder and as expected, the bleeding is taking a long time.

Pictures below: However, when looking closely at my new installed cylinder I noticed something that I don't remember seeing on my old one (I threw it away already so I can't compare). I noticed a small yellow tab sticking out on the base of the cylinder where it attaches to the booster and was wondering if I should have removed something like a shipping retainer or tab. Before I go further in the bleeding and then have to take it off to remove this does anyone know if this is something that should have been removed before I installed it? Thanks in advance.

Default It's good!

Nope, it's supposed to be there. You can see it's part of the yellow "cup" in the rebuild kit. I checked it on my Rover too, it's there.
