I have a 2000 discovery ii, its been running rough, lack of power, exhaust smell around the engine. I had 2 codes misfire cylinder 5 and 8 I think. I replaced the wires, coil packs, plugs, and had the injectors cleaned. I have the same problem. any ideas?

 

Well it sounds like the possibility of a head gasket leak, assuming both symptoms you listed are relative to each other. You could have a vacuum leak and an exhaust leak at the flange. But assuming the two are from the same problem... I'd say head gasket. Can you hear a leak anywhere?
