How long do you plan on keeping the vehicle? If you're going to sell it in the next 3 years, I'd go with TF. If you plan on keeping it past that, OME.

There's half a dozen companies that sell a coil swap kit for a DII. It's a pretty straightforward job. Thing is, you get what you pay for generally. If I recall correctly, stock Land Rover springs don't hold up so well over time. I wonder, does OME make a stock height replacement spring?

You're thinking about it wrong... OME DOES MAKE stock height springs, they are the height of a NEW stock Disco when it was fresh off the line which was 2" higher than they are now that they've worn out.

Nobody makes a spring the height of your worn out saggings springs if what you are saying is that you'd like to maintain your worn out spring height.

My disco came with rear SLS (air bags), at normal height there were 2" - 2.5" inches between the wheel and the wheel-arch. At raised height there were about 5", about the same as now with the OME 781 coils...

I chose the OME 781 springs because I didn't want one of the generic no-name brands that come with the coil swap kits. However they are in no way whatsoever stock height. Maybe the OME 764 (220 lb/in vs 290) or something else, I don't know...

Thanks again for all the helpful replies!

Actually, no. Check the RAVE, then check people's posts describing the difference in clearance/center of wheel to wheel arch distance. Getting a set of OME springs, say 779s and 781s, will net, usually, about 2" of lift. Possibly more, depending on how much the stock springs have sagged. OME springs are not stock height springs. Springs on a vehicle that hasn't been completely destroyed generally do not sag 2". If they do, they would be immediately noticeable.
