Default Help with codes. New to the D2 world

So I pick up a 2000 D2. It runs great shifts smooths. I've put about 100 miles on it and it doesn't seem to be lacking hourse power. I have the following codes and 3 amagos. P0171, p0174, p0134, and p1590. The parts guys said to replace all of the O2 sensors and the Cadillac convertor. Will this clear up the codes or should I just replace the O2 and try that. Or should I take it in and have a better test done. If your in the columbus ga area and can help let me know.

The parts guys are looking to make some serious money from you. With the first three codes, I would replace both front O2 sensors and clear the codes. Why they recommended the rear sensors and catalytic converter is beyond me, as you have no codes for either. As for the P1590, you are going to have to get that scanned by a computer that can actually read Landy ABS codes. It is on because something is going on with your ABS. There was a recent post about what scanners can read our ABS codes.

Put your location in your profile and car year and model in your signature(helps for the future), Maybe someone near you have an ABS code reader and can help.

I vote vacuum leak for the lean code. Injector o-rings seem to be a popular spot sometimes. Intake gasket happens too.

Is their a way to test for a vacuum leak or o-rings or gasket leak.

Fast and cheap vacuum test: With the engine running, spray carburetor cleaner over the vacuum lines, and air intake hose...basically everywhere outside air might be getting into the engine. If the engine RPM goes up when you spray the carb clean over a spot, you have found your leak.

As far as your ABS amigos go there is part of the circuit board in the SLABS ECU that likes to short out and there is a cheap fix using a bypass wire that will clear up ABS codes a lot of the time on D2s. There should be a thread around here on how to do it, the website I got the walkthrough from hasn't been up for a while now.

Cool. Thanks I'll give that test a try. Also I'll look for the abs bypass.
