Help!?! Does this look right???
Doing a valve and head gasket job on my new 03 Disco II. Is it normal for those openings in the block above the cams to look like they are missing pieces? It looks brittle like it's breaking apart but is quite firm. mileage 93k.

No need to use a separate site for pics. Just click on the yellow and black photo box (fifth icon from the bottom right) and browse your computer for your photo. Wait for upload and insert.

LoL you have been so worried all day; if you had searched Google images you would have instantly found 1,000 pics showing the valley end of a Rover engine block! Don't get too $hit faced; may be thirsty Thurs but Fri AMs @ work usually start off hectic espc' when you happen to be hung over 😵

Yeah, I experienced that earlier tonight too. Must be you need 2 beers under your belt before posting pics - lol.. anyhoo, glad it worked for you. Nice ride - and it looks warm where you are!
Been a weird year, that was at the owners house the day before I bought it. Then the temps dropped below freezing, then back to 70..idk. I'm in northern Atlanta.
