Default drive shaft broke and tore the fuel line

Can I just temporarily run a rubber line to patch the break in the fuel line to make sure the engine runs? I am thinking of buying the rover for the engine but since the driveshaft did the damage I cant check the engine until I fix the fuel line.

Should be no problem at all for a temp diagnostic. Just make sure it's fuel line, with internal braiding, and not generic rubber tubing. Wouldn't hurt to have a fire extinguisher handy, but realistically you'll probably know if it's going to leak or not before the engine fires up.

they sell the rubber hose rated for fuel injection. Double hose clamp it and it will be fine for testing

Get Fuel Injection Hose at any NAPA, rated for 225psi (overkill). Army is right with using double clamps! Just get Fuel Hose Clamps. They will give you the best seal.
