Default Help with Drag Link ID

Hello all, I am having a bit of an issue identifying my drag link. I ordered a stock new end from BA and it is a different joint. The stock unit has finer thread than the existing unit. I took a look on TerraFirma's website (due to the installed shock) and it looks like they have a different setup for the steering damper mount, mine is welded and pretty stout. Any ideas?

No stock thats for sure. the silver paint looks to be TF but the mount is semi adjustable.
I beleive TF uses RRC tie rod ends, but i cant sweer that is TF.

Default tie rod end/ball joint

Here is a shot of the bottom of the joint. looks like a stamping of an L in a triangle and 046. Might have to run up to my local N@pa and see if they can cross it...

Found a picture of a Rovertracks HD unit (on here) that looks a lot like mine. Going to do more searching...

Found a couple of pictures of the rovertracks HD track link unit and they seem to be pretty comparable. Anyone know which tie rod end was used on the rovertracks units? I am headed to the parts store to see if we can identify it....

The draglink looks like an aftermarket replacement and IMO not LR OEM.

I don't know whether you realise but I seem to recollect??? the ball joint screws are different, one is right hand thread and the other left hand thread.

PS on taking another looksee, that draglink looks DIY as the main rod/tube seems too long and the welding looks a bit scuzzy IMO.

Drag link is definitely not OEM, the ball joint for the pitman arm end is left handed thread just like the OEM end I ordered in. The welds are rough but look like someone has done them before, I will have some time later to crawl under and get a measurement of how long the drag link is to compare. Still having a hard time coming up with what ball joints rovertracks used for their HD units....

Thanks....
