If you have a dry space you can work, pull the front drive shaft and engage the CDL that will confirm the front drive shaft is or is not the problem
Yeah, when I was on my way home a few days ago I started hearing a high pitch whining and that clunking. I'm thinking the whining was the break pads as I was going down hill and when on that quick drive today I heard it while breaking. The clunking though, I have no idea. I don't have a dry place unfortunately, I think I'll just have to wait for the snow to die down a little.

I'm not sure if it speeds up at a higher MPH, honestly, I don't remember and didn't test too much today as I didn't want to risk further damage.

If you have a CDL (center diff lock) you can lock it, and pull the front driveshaft to see if that's making the noise.

So couple of things, I've check the front driveshaft and there is some play. Heres a couple of videos:

Is this enough to cause an issue? If so it might explain the clunking and I'll replace.

@rikkd
I do have a CDL, I tried engaging by pushing the shifter to the left while in neutral (still in 4H, just pushing to the left.). Its pretty stiff, but it moved, but feels like it only moved half way. I didn't get anything on the dash indicating I'm in CDL, am I doing something incorrect or is this another issue LOL.

I also noticed a buzzing sound while in park. I'm assuming this is the ABS pump from research, but wanted to make sure it was normal as I don't remember if i've heard it before and my ears are on high alert for anything out of the ordinary now. Again, heres a video of the buzz:

Again, thanks to all for the help and advise!

lock cld and remove front drive shaft. that will most likely prove it's the shaft. The dash light sometimes takes a while for me or maybe didn't get it fully over and engaged.
