Help me butcher a D2 - LS Swapped RWD IFS Conversion

Could definitely keep the front end stock and just remove the driveshaft/diff/axles. Probably will till I have the extra fund age for the IFS conversion. Definitely want the IFS down the road though with the long travel kit for both on and off road handling and comfort.
Surprised to hear everything including the manifolds fit so easily. In Shade Tree's LSx Swap Thread he was having quite a bit of trouble getting the drivers side manifold to fit, though it looked like the engine was offset to the right quite a bit. I'll have to see if it could be more center mounted.

I helped a friend do a 5.3 swap on a 2WD Jeep XJ. It was a total cakewalk. We even used an OEM oil pan and exhaust manifolds. I haven't taken a close look at the Discovery chassis, but I'm not sure why you couldn't just keep the front end stock like we did on the Jeep. The engine bay seems bigger. If you want it 2WD, just pull the front propshaft.

Haha, I don't have any trouble there. The lady honestly has a higher libido than mine (but not by a lot) which is saying something. That said the ADHD also keeps me busy, and some days the Adderall doesn't work as well as others.

And this: https://www.aulro.com/afvb/discovery...iron-****.html
Might give you some ideas regarding the engine swap.
