Default Help me save our Discovery II or my wife will sell it!

All,

Need you help.

I have been chasing valve clicking.
Have low oil pressure (8 PSI idle, hot).

Have changed:
- oil pump
- lifters / pushrods / rocker arms / rocker arm shafts
- rod bearings
- main bearings

Need to know what to chase next or truck is gone.
Too late for a new motor (wife won't let me spend the money).

Thanks.

Sell it.
I told you it wasn't the bearings.
Sell it or live with it.
If I remember right you said the tick goes away when you use 87 octane fuel.
Switch to 87 octane and dont worry about it.

Never mentioned gasoline octane (always run 91).
Finally figured out how to fix the tick.....Toyota 4Runner.

Living with the tick / low oil pressure seems wrong for a car enthusiast / engineer. Mechanical systems should work. Truck is as good as sold.
