Default My wife was driving our 61 Series II when she died...!?! Wont start!

The truck died not my wife... She thought it was out of fuel so I picked some up, put it in and nothing. Turned over but would not start. After awhile I noticed key was in on position but no lights (dash light usually on until started was not on, no signals, no headlights no tailights), the wipers dont work, nor the fan. Will turn over, horn works, lighter works. I am baffled, thought maybe ground... Checked them, seem fine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

The starter button is a very simple circuit and that is obviously ok since the engine will crank.
Pop off the instrument panel and using a test light or multimeter see if you're getting 12v in and 12v out of the ignition switch. Go from there in the appropriate direction depending on what you find.
