Help the new guy with overheating

well Earlier today I took it out and noticed the temp rising so I parked it brought it home and well hosed down the engine bay. The truck has been staying at a normal temp all day now...

If it had to much dirt on the engine that will act like a blanket and hold in heat.

Rise the fins of your radiator too, do it from inside the engine bay and then from the front of the truck.

Also make sure your electric fans are working, they should spin by hand easily as well as come on when the truck is at temp and the a/c is on.
