well this all looks great to me. The timing chain has a little play in it nothing I would consider crazy but what do I know? I don’t know if I mentioned in my original post but this rover had a slight oil leak coming from the front of the engine that had seem to get worse the last few days I had drove it. Idk if that oil pump seal being completely out would stop it from building pressure?

Well you can't see blown head gaskets with the heads on, however you can still do the compression test if you like in 5 and 7. I would recommend doing that before disassembling further.

In terms of looking for walked cam bearings, you need to look up higher, around the crank and rods to be able to see the camshaft. Here are some photos of what a walked cam bearing looks like (red circled) and one pic of the cam from below without a walked bearing.

Here is a pic of the cam bearing I found in the oil pan on one engine.

Here is a pic of what a cracked oil pump looks like.

Rear
This is at the back of the block I can’t get picture of the front. I’m assuming there 1 bearing in the front and one in the rear

5 actually, front rear and three in the middle. Google walked cam bearings, and Rover V8 engine pictures. Look at the pics. Don't worry much about the pics, just look up there and see if you can see a large journal instead of the lobes. if you do, that is likely your problem. If not, after the compression test the next step is to remove the front cover and look at the oil pump gears.

Default Few more questions

1st does this timing chain look good to you guys 170k.
second when we was trying to get the crankshaft pulley off when we would turn the whole engine over, spark plugs where in it builds compression and leaks off somewhere towards the back of the engine is this normal? Well the video of the timing chain won’t load, there’s around 1/2 in play on drivers side and less than 1/4 play on passenger side

I think you need the leak down, test, compression test, and wet test. given how far you are into this thing, that is the next step. When I dd my head gaskets earlier this year in my research it seemed that 5 and 7 were the most common locations of failure. that is where mine was.

I heard something hit the ground last night and couldn’t find it. Well I found this today. It looks important I hope someone knows what it is and where it goes

With that mileage I would definitely replace the timing chain. It is unlikely to break, but it is stretched which affects the valve timing, and so, engine performance. Don't replace the timing gears unless you use Land Rover OE. The Chinese gears are worse than your original worn gears.
