Default Help with seat adjustment buttons

I just bought a Disco II and it was missing the seat adjustment buttons. The switches are in place but the outter buttons are missing. I bought the new buttons, but when I try to install them the switches detract into the center console. My question is there a better or easy way to install the buttons without taking a part the center console.

Default RE: Help with seat adjustment buttons

I had the same exact problem you did when I got mine and I found that the body of the unit had just come out (unsnapped) of its holders. First pull off the black face plate that the rods stick through. Then the actual unit itself that had come unsnapped. So I snapped it back in place, and then the buttons just snapped back on the rods as normal. I found if the base of the unit is not secure in it's holders, it will not allow the rods to stick out enough to snap the buttons back on.

Hope this is the same thing thats wrong with yours... it was a snap to fix... ya that was bad...

Good luck,
Jeff
