That has been my plan, to get the rave manual and work my way up. It's frustrating that my discrepancies are connected to something else I should replace as well. Like the spark plugs and wires...if I have to take the manifold off to get there I might as well do the gaskets. And doing the brakes I might as well get the hubs and replace all of it. I'll just have to steadily buy parts and download the manual and do what I can... Seems like by this time next year I'll be a lot more knowledgeable..... Or I'll have killed my disco haha

pretty straight forward, you should be very familiar in a short time. you are in a good position, that you have another mode of transport. you can take your time, follow the manual, and get on here and ask questions, if help is needed.

Pick off things one at a time.

First is coolant leak, if Steel Seal work, you have that off your list.

Second is Drive Shaft, The Drive Shaft is a fairly easy job 8 bolts to take it off. You can rebuild it or have a driveline shop rebuild it. (Also, check front drive shaft).

Head Gasket, it is a $2000 or less job. Any shop can replace your head gaskets, the only tricky part is the torquing of the new head bolts.

Brakes, are a 30 min per wheel job and parts are about $150.00 per Axel for pads and rotors.

Misfire on Cylinder One is more than likely a bad plug, so go out and buy a new plug replace it, clear the codes and see if it comes back. If it does comeback you need wires.

You should also buy a code reader so you can clear your codes and get your codes. Target Price depends on what you get. By my readings if you have a PC buy a Autocom CDP+

https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...n-video-62986/

This forum goes into that. Once you have your codes post them and people will help
