Question 99 discovery II crankshaft sensor replacement. need helpful info thread.

Just ordered the sensor. Helpful tips you may have:
-location of sensor
-time to replace
-pictures of sensor location

I just did mine in the same exact vehicle.. The hardest part for me was plugging it in. There is a video floating around somewhere on how to do it but it's below the #7 cylinder there is a round cover with two bolts you have to take off to actually see it. < 10 minute job.

if you don't have rear air then you can fold up the side of the inner fender to get at it.

I got it in w/o much problem. Like stated above, plugging it in was the hardest part. Took me a few minutes to figure out I could slide the plug connection off to make it easier. Did the plug from the top and the sensor from underneath. Nice to drive this ride again
