is there no one testing or making their own hho generator? Very suprising?! I kinda figured a bunch or rench heads would try or test out something as important and performance changing as this!!! Gotta be someone?

Last count I had you we're putting one together and are going to let us know how it worked.

I have seen 2 gas shortages and more than my share of ways to "improve mileage and preformance."

The only thing that has worked was to separate people from their money.

If they had worked we would still have the items today.

I don't want to see you get ripped off or anyone else.

Back in the early 80's they had a small jug that you put a additive in and it had a vacuum hose that ran from the jug to the carb. It would pull air into the jug from a line that ran to the bottom of the jug so it would run air through the additive then the air from the top of the jug would get pulled into the carb.
The parts looked to cost 5 buck the additive cost $20 and would last about 3000 miles then they said that you would need to change it out and put more additive in.
Did it work?
The people that used it said it did,,, but all I saw it doing was to let more air in to the carb and lean out the system.

So yes I'm a hard sell and see that it would take more power to make a hho generator to work than it can get in a vehicle.

Popular Mechanics has a section on technology from years past on its last page (if I remember correctly). One of those articles mentioned a 200MPG carburetor you just bolted on. Injecting hydrogen into the combustion chamber seems pretty dangerous, similar to nitrous oxide. It requires reprogramming the ECU at the very least. BMW has a hydrogen powered 7-series, although it is packed with a great deal of technology and BMW know-how.

My advice is to stay away from the snake oils out there and just drive a little slower.

Cheers,

Pete

Gentlemen.... for one thing it will not get you off using gas in your disco. It only improves the mileage. Two, it is not sham. Check out this forum if you want some info.. www.hhoforums.com ... The issue with this generator is that when you seperate the water molecules, you get two hydrogen and one oxygen. The oxygen molecule is the bad one because it affects your o2 sensor, your computer thinks tha engine is running lean and tells the fuel injection to add more gas. Now, carburated cars have no problem, but efi vehicles must have a circuit board added. This unit is connected between the comp and your 02 sensor. This is the current wall...
There are alot of people that are making and testing their own unit now, scientists are testing materials that can seprate the oxygen from the hydrogen. Open your brains, check out the site, do some research, its for real.. Get on board cause gas is only going to go up..
It is something that is very new in the car community and I think thats why there is so much controversy. All I ask is to check it out for yourself.
I am in the process of building my own from plan off the site www.smackbooster.com its a easy proven generator which produces about 1.5 liters per minute.. I will let you know how it works! Just figured there would be more experimental people here?

My previous post was a polite attempt to say it is a scam.

Cheers,
