Default Hi lift, TORIN?

Lookin at an off road jack, and found a company called TORIN that carries a 3 1/2 ton 48" jack. It's a little stronger than the HI Lift, I just don't know about the construction of it. The little use it'd get on my truck, I think the extra pulling power may be worth the risk of it not lasting as long. My brother in law has a Central Machinery cheapy that he bought from Harbor Freightand he uses it regularly on his ranchwith no problems. The one area i'm not willing to sacrifice on is safety, but this jack says it meets all ansi and other safety requirements. Any experience oropinions?

Most people in the clubs that I have been in all use the Red Hi Lift in either the 48" or 60" version. They now also have a more sepensive version whch I have yet to see out on the trail.
For saftey issues, buy one of Bill Burke's saftey tapes on recoverys and do what he says and you'll be fine.

I've already downloaded a couple of Bill Burkes articles. I'm sure they're able to give anybody a few tips and tricks rarely thought of.
