Default Hid conversion for both headlight and fog light

New thread for this....just looking for ideas on what power to order? 4300 or 6000 for the headlight.....fog light 4300 factory white or 3000 super yellow...what are the thoughts out there??? lights are not bad could be better.....I do some camping so I would appreciate more light without having to put up lights on the grill or roof....need to order soon front bumper getting painted on saturday.....

I have 3 35 watt after market HID's ,that are bumper mounted, they are 3000K bulbs with spot lens set to fill up 2 lanes about a block down the road. I then, just installe 2 6000K, 35 watt HID conversion in place of my head light. Bright doesn't begin to describe the amount of power.

I put these in my headlights http://www.v-leds.com/Shop/Control/P...id/0/SFV/32481

and these in my fogs http://www.v-leds.com/Shop/Control/P...id/0/SFV/32481

Kinda expensive but I've used these types of conversions in many cars and these are BY FAR the best I've used. Very very high quality and the headlights and fogs will be the same blue. You can order them from the same company with a white, yellow, blue, or purple hue to the lights. They are very good.

I'm running 4300K dual beams for my headlights. I really like them but I like the color of Disco Mike's 6000K better. His make mine look a little yellow. Unlike others, I highly recommend spending the extra money for the dual beams. The high beams on my HIDs are incredible. At about 250ft out in front of the truck I was still having to squint looking at the lights they are so bright.

For your fog lights I would recommend the 3000K for the yellow color which is better in a lot of conditions where fog lights are actually needed.

looks like the v-led works out better money wise...with both hi/lo included plus free shipping.....6000 looks like the best bet for the headlights and 3000 for the fogs.....enough light..would like to get higher to project further....looks like i need a roof rack attachment down the road...thanks guys.

This place has a little better price than the site KBW posted. This is where the set Disco Mike is using came from.

Are you talking about fog lights or driving/off road lights? Fog lights should be low on the vehicle, like below the front bumper, to light below fog. Driving lights can be mounted higher, such as above the bumper or on a roof rack. If you mean driving lights I would recommend the same 6000K bulbs as your normal headlights.
