Default High Idle?

I looked in my owners manuel and it says that my d1 should idle around 750 rpm's. Mine idles at 1200. It says it is not adjustable in the haynes manuel. is there any way to correct this or is there really anything wrong?

You should check for a vacuum leak, then clean the t/body and the IAC. Between those 3, one is causing your idle to be running high.

IAC= Idle Air Control, it is a little valve on the throttle body, when it gets dirty is can cause all kinds of trouble, remove it and clean it with a spray can of carb cleaner.
Here is what it looks like.

I am feeling like a total idiot. Does anyone have a picture of its location?
