High Idle. All I did was change spark plugs.
Ok so today I changed my spark plugs and my one broken wire. It ran great!! However later I go to start it and its idling at 1,500rpms..
A buddy of mine touched the throttle sensor and it seems to fix it. But later on it idles high again. Cant fix it. No touching pushing taping or disasemble and oil of the throttle sensor works. And the throttle sensor seemed to turn just fine..
All I can say is I did change my spark plugs.. To bosh +4. And one spark plug..
On a side note it has alot more acceleration.. I would love to say it was the spark plugs. But it might just be the high idle.

WELL..
I just got done cleaning the throttle body. Few days back.
Im begining to think my check engine light doesn't work... Should it show when key is turned to the "on" position
I found three hoses that need replaceing so Ill check into it after Im done with that..
two are breathers one is the fuel pressure regulator hose.

First, what year, model and mileage?
If it is a D2, when cleaning the t/body, did you clean the idle control solenoid?
Check your air tube to the t/body, some people crack the fitting, on a D2, that goes to the idle solenoid.
On a side note, when one wire is weak enough to break the others are all probably getting old and should be replaced with new 8 mm wires like Magnacor's or STI's.

I just changed the idle sensor and nothing.
Then I cleaned the IAF Or stepper motor and nothing.
Disconnected battery and will see where that gets me.
Then going to check for vacuum leaks.
...
I found a Bulging coolant hose coming from the engine to the heater core. Any reason for this? Yes I know to replace it.
