Default High milage discovery

How many miles can you get out of a Discovery with proper maintance? My old 2000 ford ranger had 230,000 on it when I traded it in for my 2000 Discovery and it still ran strong. Has anyone seen high milage Discos with over 200,000 miles?

Thank you,
Willie

My Discovery (1997) V8 has around 260,000km (161,460 miles) on it and (touch wood) is still going strong (with regular servicing). Only a few hiccups with the electrics so it seems which are (hopefully) being sorted out.

I have heard of a number of people with 200,000 miles and still going with no major problems.

I almost bought one with 190,000 on the clock. It was really quite solid... I probably would have bought it but decided I didn't want a black one.

My cousin has over 200,000 miles on hers. That's one reason I'm looking for one now.
