Default High Mile Disco (180k)... What else to replace while doing headgaskets

My disco has about 180,000 miles (290,000km) and I'll be doing head gaskets in the spring as I'm losing coolant ever so slightly and starting to smell it in exhaust. Im putting parts together now to make sure I have everything to make the job as painless as possible. My time goal is to get it done in 8 days. Starting on a Saturday morning, working all weekend, and 2 hours a day after work until the next weekend to finish up. Should be more than enough time for the job but id rather budget more down time than needed.

Now for parts I figure I'll do. My thinking is if I have the engine torn down this far I might as well get everything that is likely to fail replaced so I don't have to tear it down again for a while.

My list thus far:

Head gaskets and most of the gaskets included in kit
Water pump
Timing chain and sprockets
Bosch +4 plugs and 8mm wires
Oil pump
180º tstat

What else? I want to freshen up the truck without throwing unneed money at it

Thanks

Here's the list. Bail on those Bosch plugs. They're trash; I wouldn't install them if they were free.

Go down this list and pick out things you haven't done yet because this will be the best time. Also if there are any mods you want to do, now would be the time. A port and polish on the heads makes a world of difference in power, and a cam is always a good choice while the front cover is off.

Already done everything on that list went I bought it minus plugs and wires. This forum doesn't swear by the +4 Bosch plugs anymore lol? What plugs do you recommend? Thanks

Edit: Should have been more specific. Looking for internal parts to replace while I have the engine torn apart

Nope, they're largely hated. Forum choice seems to be NGK, that's what I run. Pretty much anything is fine though as long as it's not Bosch.

Cam and lifters would be my internal recommendation, and a port and polish if you're looking for a power bump.

NGK Double Platinum/Iridium & I've also had good results with the Autolite Double Platinum/Iridium plugs as well.

Only Bosch plug I'd ever use in a pinch would be their old fashioned copper core plugs, but that would only be in a pinch if I couldn't find anything else on earth to use instead.

For a 180K mile engine, I’d replace the old crankshaft position sensor - CPS (or any other sensors on the engine for that matter).
The CPS tends to stop working due to the age of the CPS, extreme engine heat and exhaust heat which lead to total shut down of your truck... even in the middle of traffic! After the CPS cools down, you’d be able to start up your truck again but once it gets hot, it’ll shut down. I learned this the hard way last week.
I bought a new Duralast CPS #SU5570 for almost $50 at AutoZone.

If you don't already have it on the list, get an oil pan gasket, oil pickup tube o-ring, & front engine seal.

Valve guides, valves lapped, springs measured/replace if needed, heads resurfaced.
Lifters, pushrods, rocker shafts.
I would replace camshaft, cam, rod, main bearingd, hone cylinders, polish crank, freeze plugs, along with parts you already mentioned...if you don't want future problems, just rebuild the whole thing and be done with it.

My engine ran excellent at 122k miles, just ticked loudly.
All bearings shot.
4 pistons out of spec(I'll be buying 8)
Cam, rings, refurbished heads, ect.
As said, rebuild it all and be done, or patch it and come back to it shortly.

Also, I'd replace all vacuum and coolant lines.
