205,000 miles all original, all I do is change the oil every 5,000 miles using Shell Rotella.
I use about 1 qt of oil between oil changes.
If it ain't broke dont fix it.
If you are not going to rebuild the whole engine why spend the time and money replacing major parts in a otherwise perfectly good running engine?
But then again you DII guys have alot more engine problems than us DI guys.

Had to go there... lol. The D2s have more cargo space to hall all of them tube tvs and old betamax players you D1 guys are so fond of to the dump.... ;-)

LOL, That, AND we don't have to drive past a bank to know what the temperature is outside!

My P38 has 232k and the only major work it has done to the engine is head gaskets.Still runs great

Hey now, my Sony Betamax still works and the picture is great!!
And dont even get me started on my Technic's turntable...

Know what you mean. Mine showed 107* when I got in it to go home for lunch today. Granted, I know it shows an average of 5* higher than bank's thermostats.
