Default Hissing noise

I have just noticed a hissing sound on my Discovery V8 ESyear 2000 model. The soundappears after every 10-12 seconds. It is louder when heard from outside of the vehicle.

Please advise what it could be.

Thanks.

Where do you hear it coming from, do you have rear air suspension? When do you usually hear it?

It appears from the front, not sure if from the left or right. I have heard it when stationary in all gears (automatic),it may be there when the vehicle is moving, but road and engine noise may be suppressing it.

You are going to have to crawl under the truck, get a little dirty and be alot more specific as to the location of the noise, if you want to get some positive help from us.

Ive heard it too, but I believe it's just the air suspension working.

Could be wrong, but please do, let us know where you hear it :]

Happy Rovering!

Not the air suspension, cause I had it, ditched the SLS as soon as I could, and still have it. Was told by Dealer, that it is the ACE pump reassessing its position, or something like that.
