I just realized it is 6' and not 6"s.
That truck is in trouble.

I would pull the engine/transmission as one.
Pull the ECU and everything you can get out that is easy.
Maybe take off the wheels too.
Then call the junk yard.
The flat bed will come and use the winch to pull the hulk
up onto the flat bed.
And, then it is gone.

Yup, 6'.

Truck is originally from Ohio, now in VA.

It sounds like she's a goner. Will scrap what I can and off to the junkyard she goes.

Thanks everyone for your help.

I guess it's time to look for a new disco...

Where I live you get more money at the metal recycling places than you get at a junk yard.

I was thinking about this today while at work, this 6ft crack, is it just a broken weld on the frame?
The frame is a boxed frame, they take two half's and weld them together the full length.
Maybe the weld broke and the tech did not know any better?
We REALLY need to see a pic of this "crack"
If it is just a broken weld I bet it is repairable.

Hmm... sounds shady either way, I want photos. Though I would never put a frame with a 6 foot crack on a lift...ever.
