The Holy Grail of LR Ownership
No dash lights anymore!!!
My wife's Disco 2 has been plagued with a CEL since before we owned it (PO said "oh, its a O2 sensor or something stupid, no big deal"), and the 3 amigos since right after we bought it, so for about 3 years. I did option B for the amigos a couple of months ago. It was much easier than I thought it would be, which is why I was hesitant to do it for so long. CEL ended up being a MAF. I bought the cheapest one from Rockauto.com, about $65. No more light
It's almost eerily dark in the truck when driving at night now... Thanks to everyone on the board for the assistance. Now on to replacing the clock spring so the horn works again...

I like the gauge in Dollars. It wasn't to many months ago that your depiction was actually a little shy of reality. It used to cost me $100 to fill my Beast! Just to have it drink it all up in a day's drive.
My K2500 Suburban at the office sported a 42 gallon tank. And the 454 engine was not known for economy. Great boat tow vehicle on our coastal slippery slime boat ramps or beach launching.
OUCH! That's Still a huge hit in the wallet, even with currently lower prices.
