I have a rolling code type opener and followed the procedure to the letter. The light on the opener blinks, indicating a successful pairing, and the home link light blinks also showing a successful pairing. Dang door still won't open.

Anyone with any first hand experience please post.

you need to press a permission button on the garage door
then press homelink again
