Homelink garage door opener wiring question
I have a 2000 D2, I bought a Homelink opener for the D2. I do not see the plug for the homelink opener in the upper panel. Is my truck not pre-wired for this and how do I splice into the existing wiring?
The connector (C0992) should be behind the front of the headlining -

If you remove the sunroof switch panel, you should be able to see it behind there.
I would have thought that your vehicle would have had the connector.
My UK spec. vehicle has the connector, and we don't even have the Homelink system here.
If you definitely don't have C0992 up there, I can supply the proper connector.
It only requires an ignition-switched live and earth, which can be taken from a number of places.
If you have an auto-dipping or compass mirror, or sun-visors with illuminated mirrors - the Homelink is powered from the same circuit and can be powered off of one of the connectors for these - I can supply mating connectors or an inline plug-in to tap-off from them.
Another option is to take the wiring down behind the A pillar trim to the under facia fuse box and take the live and earth from the S12 accessory socket.
I can supply the proper connectors to fit both the S12 and S13 sockets.
S12 socket -

S12 connector -

S13 socket -

S13 connector -
