Default Homemade bumper installed!!

Ok, so I got a little crap for my 'bumper delete' mod, but I wasn't going to pay an arm and a leg for an aftermarket HD bumper. Here's my solution. I had it fabricated by a local shop. I think they did a very good job, and were even able to add in the factory fog lights.. The recovery points are mounted straight to the frame and the metal is decently thick (weighs just under 100lbs). All I have to do now is paint it satin black, get some grade 8 bolts to mount it, and add some D-rings (in the mail). They charged me a grand total of $320! What y'all think?

I like it a lot, unique enough, but styled well to blend with the trucks lines... Very good.

Not bad at all for $300! I know there is a fab shop around here that makes steel bumpers that look almost identical to that one. They sell them on ebay for about $700...

Looks pretty stout. I don't think this one will crack.

I think I know the ones you are talking about. I gave him the ebay pic of this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Land-Rover-D...364187&vxp=mtr, and that's what he modeled mine from. The ebay one doesn't have recovery points though, which he added. I also bought an Atlantic British HD rear bumper that I got out of the bargain bin for $329.99. It had a couple scratches, but I will paint both front and rear to match each other anyway. TF lift is going on this weekend. I've caught the bug!

Thanks, I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't sure what to expect when I picked it up.

Wow, is that nice.
Who is the shop?

You'll not have a scratch.

That thing ought to be able to hit small trees, cars, small trucks, errant animals (hopefully not), but not suffer a scratch.

Drive safe.

But who cares? As long as they meet our needs.

Just a small local shop called All South Fabricators. Yea, it looks like it's ready for a zombie apocalypse.
