Seems like a lot of the D1 guys just run nothing so I guess I’m not worried about it. It’s one of those cosmetic things lol. My hood pad is fully intact so I guess I’m just gonna deal with it being grubby for now

Get a rattle can of flat black high temp paint and spray over it

There is black, undercoating that is rubberized and you may get some sound deadening. Whether there is high heat in that paint I do not know.

that is really the benefit. It’s wuieter, if you don’t care about that, then you could leave it empty, not sure it gets hot enough to damage paint.
