Hood paint questions
I installed Vig Designs hood blackout about 9 months ago. Still looks brand new. For the washer nozzles, you pop them off, install the decal, then trim the holes with an exacto knife. Decal is amazingly easy to re-position and get "perfect" as long as you keep it wet (garden hose). Really helps to have a second person. It took me about a half-hour before I was satisfied, and it came out basically perfect. Any tiny bubbles that can't be squeegee'd out, you pop with a straight pin - once dry, the holes cannot be seen.
If you have someone to paint for free, that's a great option. My blackout actually hid a couple of bad scratches that the previous owner put there. No trace, and no sanding, primer, etc.

I called Vig, they have a 5 and 7 year decal rating with $30 being the split plus $20 shipping. I opted out and was ready to buy.......
I called rovers north, they have a US made product and don't give a year style rating...I don't know

I really can't see why this is such a long drawn out three page thread. Order from Vigg, install, put a small hole in the washer nozzle area with a pen, shove washer nozzle through it. Done. :\
