Hood paint questions
Armor-All the $*** out of it just like you would your dash. Keeps it looking brand new
Sava what a drive yesterday....due south to Santa Isabel to a tomato farm. All over the farm. I haven't been able to make it over that range without overheating in years. Coming back early evening but light out I was often at 158-9 (which is very close to thermo open temp) but mostly ranged in the 160's. At noon on the the biggest hill engine went to 80% and temps approached 185 momentarily. Think I should step up from my 160 thermostat to conserve gas.
I saw the link for the bonnet sticker. The pix showed no washer squirter nozzles, silly question but does sticker come w cut outs ? And if I have to armour all it, maybe the paint is the way to go. thanks

And it takes all of 39 seconds to Armor-All the hood decal. Just helps keep it looking good. Do you wash your truck? Wax it? If that is too much work for you, you might want to consider a Toyota Camry instead of a Land Rover

Do I wash it.....I'm a fireman, I'm at work now and its inside thawing out, when we are not busy it gets washed every night I work if poss....my paint guy will do it for $150. I also have a place close that does the decals for the dept, maybe I'll see what they can do....

I smell a bidding war between the decal and paint guy!
Good luck, make sure to show it off here when it's done.
you need to cut around the washer jets. those jets are so easy to remove as well you should take em out and then put the sticker down, cut around the holes and then put the washers back. it's easy. paint is cool too.
