Ordered mine from Amazon. Again, really cool mod and thanks for posting. There are few things you can do to a rover that are this cheap and effective.... I can't think of any others.

Mine is done. I didn't even measure. Took 15 minutes.

By FAR the best, easiest, cheapest mod I've ever done. Thanks again!

Btw I just cut my hood blanket around the bracket because I had shorty 8mmx.5 inches) screws.

Got mine in today, will tackle when it cools off a little. Has anyone actually tried to install on drivers side? I was looking close and looks like it will clear everything. I am going to try and if it works, I am tempted to install 1 on the passenger side to match.

Question, mine has tag that says install "rod end down". I noticed yours is rod end up. Does it make a difference?

Mine didnt specify, so I'd follow the directions. Post back if it will fit on the drivers side.

Just thought I would ask. I am going to install on drivers side and put some play-doh on brake lines and abs to check if it is hitting. Will post results tomorrow, I forgot to bring home some self-tapping screws.

I got 8mm half inch ones. Better choice would be 10mm x 3/4.

I've looked at mine a dozen times and I can't remember which way the rod is, but the reasoning is that water will be less likely to invade the piston if the skinny part (rod) is pointed down. Since ours will spend their entire lives horizontal I'm not sure it matters.
