Hoping that i'm not gettin taken for a ride
So i found a website that had 02 sensors for around 64 dollars. I thought awesome, i'll order 4, and i did. Ordered them on may 3 on a friday. I knew that i probably wouldn't get a tracking/confirmation number until monday, so i waited. Monday came around, and no Fedex tracking number. So I called them up, and when i told him my order, he told me they were a special order item, and they would receive them in 2 weeks at longest, and then ship it to me. Mind you on their website. ( http://www.race-mart.com/ ) in large font it says same day shipping, large inventory. I didn't complain, figuring that since they were cheap, i could stand to wait. I called today, and it went from 2 weeks to 2 1/2 weeks to 3 weeks. Now i'm getting a little worried. So i looked around the website and found this : http://www.race-mart.com/special_orders.asp
I would have thought that when i went to purchase these, a notice about how long it would take to recieve would pop up if that were the case. It seems like (from reading their special orders info page) that this takes a lot of people by surprise. Should I be calling my bank to have the money returned, or is this normal? I'm not used to having something take this long to receive, even if it's special order. I hope these 64 dollar 02 sensors aren't too good to be true, because that's what it's starting to seem like.

That's the chance you take, been thru' it.
I bought my ntk's about four years ago, for $50 ea, they work fine, (had to use old connectors, tho')
You may try email, or even call them, tell them the forums you're on think it's unusual to wait so long.
luck,greg

Your D1 most likely takes a special 02 based on your vin. number and they are in the $100 price range. Check out British Parts of Utah and check your vin. with their 02 information.
And cancel that order.
And cancel that order.
