Default horn/hazard lights

hello to all. I'm a new owner of a 1997 discovery SE. I have a problem and cant figure it out. my horn and hazard lights don't work. I replaced the 30 amp fuse in the engine compartment, but still nothing. I also replaced the flasher relay but still nothing any and all help is greatly appreciated thanks,

Did you check the fuse under the hood too?

spike555 thanks after reading your reply i did but still nothing. Anything else you can think of. This little bitty problem is kicking my but. lol

Look up RoverChris, he is a 12v tech, it's all I can do to change a light bulb in the living room without instructions.

Are all the turn signal bulbs working?
Does the hazard button on the dash move?

Light bulb...hard
rover...easy
LOL, I feel your pain. Not a mechanic, but these truck are easier to work on. Just zapped myself last night changing a fixture. DID NOT FEEL GOOD!

Default horn / emergency flashers

hey everyone just an update on my 97 disco. I have replaced the entire rear brake system and fixed all the lights. I still 2 problems tho. 1) i cannot get the horn to work I have replaced the fuses and the relay. 2) hazard lights I have replaced the fuses and relays still nothing, its driving me crazy anyone with more suggestions all help is greatly appreciated. becouse i am not electrically inclined. thanks all from armyeng

you need a test light and multimeter and an electrical diagram of the system to diagnose it. I have seen a few wires in the horn circuit go between the fuse box and the steering wheel.

thanks rovin4life. I got a new test light and broke out my multimeter and ohm meter but i am having a problem finding a place to get the wiring diagram from. I bought a repair manuel for this rig but it doesnt have any wiring diagrams all it says is check the wiring manual. go figure. lol well thank you and hope to hear from you soon again thanks everyone for the help it has a been a huge success in the repairs of my first disco.

Rover Chris is a 12 volt tech, he may beable to help.
I HATE electrical trouble shooting.
