You have probably already changed the light but, I would check the connector to the the bulb. The OEM connectors are notorious for frying out. This happened on one headlamp and then the other on our disco. Because of the carbonization from the plastic burning, they would work intermittently if we fiddled with the connection a banged on the lamp. Eventually I just cut the wires and spliced in heavier duty connectors immediately behind the bulb.
