@Paul - You'll probably be fine without them, but wouldn't hurt to get them for extra support. I don't have any good pictures, but the arrow in the picture below will show you approximately where they will mount. If I remember correctly, you have to unbolt the outside bumper mounts to install them...

Haha! I only work on the truck when it's sunny so the sample is a bit skewed...see above, the 10"+ we got one day is about as rare as sun
